Scotland's Isle of Skye is renowned world-wide for its superlative natural beauty. A pristine island of rolling hillsides, rugged mountains and unspoilt coastlines.

The Cuillin on Skye: an unspoilt, world-class landscape.

Skye is an environment rich with varied flora and fauna. A place sought after and travelled to by those in search of nature, tranquility and harmony, whether as a visitor or as a place to live and work.

The villages of Edinbane and Upper Edinbane.

The proposed site is approximately2km south of Edinbane village,  which translates to the Gaelic for "Fair of Face", sitting on the north west coast of Skye between Dunvegan, historic seat of the Clan MacLeod, and Portree, the main town on Skye.

Edinbane is the only planned township on Skye. Kenneth MacLeod(1809 - 1869) of Greshornish took trouble  to ensure that there should be one skilled craftsman for each craft. This resulted in a self sufficient township, which can also boast the first hospital on Skye " Gesto".
